How the truFreeze® Spray Cryotherapy Console Works
The truFreeze® Spray Cryotherapy Console assists in delivering liquid nitrogen to the target ablation site during both active and passive venting procedures. A specialized spray cryotherapy catheter is connected to the console and inserted through the working channel of the endoscope. The physician activates the flow of liquid nitrogen by using the foot pedal attached to the console to treat the affected tissue sites effectively, while maintaining a safe environment for the patient.
